WELL PUMPS · WESTERN PA & NORTHEAST OHIO
For homes and businesses with low water pressure, the DAB Esybox line delivers powerful, reliable pressure in a compact, energy-efficient design. We install it once the well, the pump, and the tank have been checked, so it fixes the right problem.
Serving our communities since 1967
A booster pump raises the pressure of water the system already delivers. It is the right fix for one kind of low pressure and the wrong one for the others, so the system is evaluated before anything is installed.
Schedule a pressure check- A boosterEnough water, not enough pressureThe well and pump deliver the volume, but the top floor, the far bathroom, or the irrigation zone still runs weak. This is what a booster is for.

IS THIS YOUR PRESSURE?
Where Low Pressure
Shows Up First.
Inconsistent water flow is common across the region’s properties. Where the pressure is weak helps us tell whether the answer is a booster or something upstream of it.
HOW A BOOSTER WORKS
Pressure Added
at the Point of Use.
A booster pump sits in the line between the supply and the fixtures and raises the pressure of the water passing through it. It adds no water to the supply. It makes the water you have arrive with more force.
- 01
Water arrives
At whatever pressure the well system or the municipal main delivers, which on a hillside, a long run, or a top floor is not enough.
- 02
Demand is sensed
A tap opens somewhere in the building. The booster senses the flow and the drop in pressure and starts.
- 03
Pressure is raised
The pump brings the water up to the set pressure and holds it there while the tap runs, whether one tap is open or four.
- 04
Held at every fixture
The same pressure at the top floor as in the basement, at the end of the irrigation run as at the source. When the taps close, the pump idles.
BOOSTER PUMPS
Booster Pumps in
Pennsylvania and Ohio.
At Chatfield Drilling, we proudly provide booster pumps for homes and businesses looking to improve low water pressure. Featuring the advanced DAB Esybox line, our booster pumps deliver powerful, reliable performance in a compact and energy-efficient design.
DAB Esybox booster pumps
We exclusively install and recommend the DAB Esybox line, known for its pressure-boosting technology. These pumps are designed to deliver consistent water pressure, whether you’re dealing with a multi-story home or a busy commercial facility, with smooth, uninterrupted pressure to every faucet, fixture, and appliance in the building.
Residential and commercial applications
Whether you’re a homeowner struggling with low water pressure or a business needing reliable water delivery, a booster is the fix once the volume is confirmed:
- Homes with multiple bathrooms or stories. The top floor gets the same shower as the basement.
- Commercial buildings with high water demand. Pressure held through the busiest hour.
- Irrigation systems. A strong, steady flow to the end of every zone.
Compact design, big power
Don’t let limited space limit your water system. The compact design of the DAB Esybox makes it a fit for tight mechanical rooms, basements, or utility closets, without sacrificing performance. With intuitive controls and easy setup, it is user-friendly too, so property owners can monitor and manage their water system.
Energy efficiency for cost savings
Energy efficiency is a top priority at Chatfield. The DAB Esybox delivers high performance with minimal energy consumption, helping you reduce monthly utility bills and contribute to a more sustainable water solution. And because it is installed only after the pump and the tank have been checked, it is never working to cover for something else.

HOW WE WORK
Confirm the Volume.
Then Add the Pressure.
A booster on top of a hidden problem runs constantly and solves nothing. So the visit starts by finding out what the pressure problem actually is.
- 01
Measure pressure & flow
What the system delivers at the source and at the worst fixture, and how much volume is behind it.
- 02
Rule out the usual causes
The well’s yield, the pump, the switch, a waterlogged tank, and any restriction in the plumbing. A booster is not installed on top of one of those.
- 03
Place the booster
Where the plumbing layout and the treatment equipment say it belongs, in a mechanical room, basement, or utility closet.
- 04
Set, test & record
The pressure set, every fixture checked, and what went in written down.
A LITTLE CLARITY
Booster Pump Questions.
Straight Answers.
Do water booster pumps actually work?
A booster pump increases pressure in a system that is delivering adequate volume but not adequate pressure. It is effective when low pressure is genuinely the problem. If the underlying issue is well yield, a failing pump, a waterlogged pressure tank, or a restriction in the plumbing, adding a booster will not resolve it, which is why the system should be evaluated first.
Why is my water pressure low?
Low pressure can originate in the well’s yield, the pump, the pressure switch, the pressure tank, sediment buildup in plumbing and fixtures, or a restriction somewhere in the system. Because the causes differ in their remedies, describing what you observe and when it began is more useful than assuming a booster pump is the answer.
Where should a booster pump be installed?
Placement depends on the layout of your plumbing and the point at which pressure needs to be increased, and it must account for the existing well system and any treatment equipment. Chatfield assesses the installation area as part of recommending equipment.
Does a booster pump work on city water?
A booster raises the pressure of whatever supply feeds it, so low street pressure on a municipal supply is a common reason to install one. The installation follows the local rules for connecting equipment to a public supply; Chatfield checks those as part of the assessment.
Will a booster pump raise my electric bill?
The DAB Esybox runs only when there is demand and is designed for high performance on minimal energy consumption. The bigger cost usually comes from a booster added on top of a failing pump or a waterlogged tank. That booster runs constantly, which is why the system is evaluated before one is installed.
Can a booster pump fix low pressure from my well?
Only if the well and pump are delivering adequate volume. Where the limitation is yield or a failing component, the appropriate response is different. Chatfield evaluates the well system, including pumps and pressure tanks, before recommending equipment. Call (724) 588-2652 to schedule service.
