Driller Helpers support Chatfield’s geo-technical & environmental drillers in loading for jobs, assisting as a two-person crew on jobsites, and cleaning up at jobsites and at the shop. Important traits include punctuality & reliability, the desire to work outside in all weather conditions, and an interest in working
safely & with appropriate PPE. General mechanical knowledge and the ability to weld are valuable skills.
Full-time + OT, Monday – Friday; ~25% out-of-town work with per-diem; 401(k), paid holidays, and medical / dental coverage. Pay depends on experience. EEO employer.

A part-time welder at Chatfield Drilling would repair drill bits and augers brought back from the jobsites to the shop in Greenville (the job is based at our Greenville shop). Both stick welding and MIG experience required. Additional work would include hard-facing augers and cleaning & organizing tooling.
Part-time (15 – 20 hrs. per week completed between Monday – Friday during daylight hours); flexible hours. Looking for retired hand or someone wanting supplemental work. No benefits available.

I had the pleasure of having Sam and Hunter for the installation of my new water softener, and I couldn’t be more impressed! Chatfield Drilling replaced a submersible pump, extended our well casing above ground, and installed a sanitary cap at our farm house. This is our first experience with a well. Both Matt and Sam were happy to answer all of our questions, no matter how small, in a way that we could understand and enabled us to make informed decisions. They were on time, sent reminders ahead of time, and told us who would be arriving. Amazing to deal with, thank you!
