ABOUT THIS ITEM
What It’s For.
Hach DPD total chlorine powder pillows (Hach 2105669) for a 10 mL sample, a bag of 100.
Total chlorine is the free chlorine plus the chlorine that has combined with other things in the water; read it with the DR300 colorimeter.
The boric-acid-free pillows cover 0.02 to 2.00 mg/L of total chlorine under Hach Method 8167, also USEPA accepted. Keep the bag between 10 and 25 °C (50 to 77 °F).
A chlorine injection system is set to a dose, and reading the chlorine in the water is how you know the dose is right. More on the chlorine injection systems we install; for a lab test of your well water, see water testing.
